I am bawling~ bless his little heart - I&#39;m so glad they saved him and can&#39;t wait for you to put the Part 2 up on your blog: I&#39;m checking now to see if I get your updates. If not, hope there&#39;s something here to get them. I must hear about Stanley&#39;s new life, after he has gotten medical treatment. Normally, when that commercial comes on TV about saving animals, I have to turn it off - it&#39;s such a &quot;tear jerker&quot; and I&#39;ve already saved 3 kitties and they love their new home; and are so spoiled. Before that I saved a puppy dog on the highway and she was my BEST FRIEND (how can anyone turn away from animals - they give so much more back to us just for saving them. I can go back further and continue with my story, but I won&#39;t. But must tell a story about our town.<br /><br />The sheriff put on TV all the dogs and cats in trash cans that they had urthenized - and pleaded for everyone to go and save these animals since the shelter was still overloaded. When we had a breakfast at the church, I was giving out prizes. A friend had donated 2 new collars and leashes for 2 big dogs. So to give this out, I asked them how many remember seeing this on TV - and how many rescued one of those animals. Out of over 400 women at this breakfast, over half raised their hand - everyone started clapping as I thanked them for rescuing these animals. It still gets me teary eyed each time I think of it. So there are more people out there trying to help than we now. I was shocked that that many had saved one of the animals that were to be put to sleep at the shelter. PTL~ just crying - must end for now. Thanks for sharing - and I do hope you put Part 2 on here for us. Animals are not disposable and we need to change the way we as a society view them. We have talked on the phone before. I am a fellow rescue person. WAY too many dogs and cats are put to death every single day simply because people are irresponsible and simply don&#39;t care!
